It is Friday night and I am sitting in my dorm room. How pathetic is that?! All of my friends are either gone or busy right now and they are my transportation, so I am subjected to staying in for a bit and writing on this blog. This will be a good time to update you all on what has been going on in my life.
For starters, the two pictures that are posted farther down are of my Easter Sunday with my family. That weekend I went home and I experienced a lot of new things. Friday night I had sushi for the first time (besides Albertson's fake California Rolls), saw the Incredibles (finally), got sunburned while crocheting outside on Saturday morning, had shicabobs (sp?) with the Nelsons, Grandpa, and Bev, celebrated my birthday early and I got a digital camera and a Longaberger Easter basket!!! Sunday went to church, sat in on both services, then my family and I then drove to Morro Bay where we had lunch at Taco Temple and Carl found a live sea snail is his food!! Great memories!! :-) After lunch we took a scenic drive around Morro Bay, went into Los Osos, and we stopped at Montano de Oro and walked down to the beach. It was a beautiful day and a great time with my family. Then that night Carl and I went over to Alyssa's and watched Finding Neverland...oh love that movie. Angie and I left around 9pm to drive back to school and we made it there right before curfew, fun times.
This week I have been incredibly busy with homework. Every night I was busy with some sort of project to do. This next week shouldn't be that bad. I just have a test on Monday and a paper on Tuesday. Oh the exciting thing about this week was that I registered for fall 2005 and spring 2006 classes. I know everything that I am going to take up until I graduate next spring. I seriously start freakin' out everytime I think about how I will be done with school in a year!!!
Next week is my 21st birthday...whoo hoo! Oh and a stupid assessment test that I have to take for the school that is supposed to last 2 hours and 45 mins!!!! I am so not looking forward to it. They make you sound like you're someone special because in the letter is says "you are one of 100 students" and that's supposed to make me feel like I should take it?! I think not. Also I have to bring a calculator and when I heard that, I knew this wasn't going to be good. I'm sure I'm making it more of a big deal then it is, but it's annoying. The other event that is happening is Spring banquet here at the school. I'm not sure if i'm going yet, we'll have to see how things work out. No news on History Day either. I'm expecting something anyday now. I kinda just have this feeling that I'm not going, but who knows. I want to know soon though so I can start planning my Summer...since it will be coming up soon because we only have 5 weeks left in the school year.
Time to go and see if my friend is back. Have a great weekend everyone and don't get too sunburned if you go out in the sun!! :)
Ciao!
