The Prairie Home Companion

I love this show! My mom and I saw the movie yesterday and it was so good!! I laughed a lot and it made me miss my ol' home of Minnesota. It's a great movie and I thought it was very well done. Then tonight I watched a live broadcast of the Prairie Home Companion on t.v. That was fun! Now I am sitting here thinking about Minnesota and the life there. I am so glad I grew up there and was raised on "the farm." :) It's a good place.

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July!! Let freedom ring... I'm not sure what we're doing during the day tomorrow but I know that tomorrow, later afternoon we're heading over to church for a big block party. With an apple pie cook off and everything (go Jen!!). I have been enjoying this wonderful four day weekend by hanging out with Tiffany a lot. It's been really good spending time with her and the cutest little boy ever, Noah (yes, he still is the cutest thing EVER!!!). Tiff and I have done some antique shopping, movie watching, eating out, coffee times, heart-to-heart talking, and laughing at Noah. I'll put a pic up so you can see how cute he is! I enjoy and treasure Tiff's friendship so much and especially this summer we've been able to reconnect and spend a whole lot more time together.

In my spare time at home ;) I started two new books that I recently purchased Taste and See by John Piper and The Four Loves C.S. Lewis. I'm really excited to read them both. They should be good.

Oh and my job is going well. I have the job permanently and officially now too! The other girl had to resign and my boss asked me to take her place so that's what i'm doing. When I go back to work on Wed. I will be the only one in the office because my boss is on vacation. I just started two weeks ago and now I get to run the whole thing by myself! Ahhhhh! God will be my strength and help. I will only be able to make it with Him. Pray for me if you think of it. I will definitely need prayer.

Happy 4th of July everyone!! Praise God for our freedom!
