Hello from El Cajon!

Hey everyone,
I believe I am now officially intergrated into school life here at CHC. I have my normal routine of getting up at 6:30am except for Saturdays. Praise the Lord for Saturdays! On Sundays I help out with the Jr. high here at Shadow Moutain and on Wednesday nights, too. That is going to be my student ministry since we are required to have one here at the school. The Jr. high is really fun and I say it's like Grace except bigger.

This past Sunday I went with my roommate Jen and a friend Rachel to Balboa Park. Ok, that is a really cool park and it is beautiful there! Most of the buildings architecture is in the Spanish Churriguresque stlye (a little bit of my humanities class coming out!). Just think of Greek mixed with Spanish and there you have it. Anyway, we walked around the park for a while and then we went to the San Diego Historical Society Museum. The museum was a lot of fun and we spent most of the time in the childrens section! We played games, made our own parks, got certificates that said "You completed a romp in the park", and we got little stickers that said Jr. Historian on them! So fun! We're going to try to do an excursion every weekend so we can get the feel of San Deigo and have a break from studying.

I think I've updated you all on what is happening in my life! Now it's homework time...yeah.
