Last weekend and this weekend

Last weekend my friend Hannah, who lives in WI came and visited me. We had a great time and it was so good to see her! We met on the England and Scotland trip last year so I hadn't seen her in a year, so we had a lot of catching up to do. :-) We started out by eating breakfast at a little cafe, then we headed to Minnehaha Falls (yes, you can laugh) and walked around for a bit, then we crossed the river over into St. Paul and walked around for a bit and went in some shops. After that we headed back across the river to the Mall of America. Yes, I love that place. Hannah and I bought matching shirts except not in the same color just same style; I got purple and she got green. When we were tired of shopping we headed to her cousins house and hung out there for a while went over into Stillwater for some food and then back to the cousins and home for me. We had quite an adventureous day.

This weekend I had the house to myself. It was lovely. The W's were off camping at Whitewater and I was home alone with the cat. Had some along time, hung out with Michelle, went to a new church which I love, cleaned the house, did laundry, and worked a couple of times. Oh yes, I have a job now! Quite exciting. I started Carl's BD (Tues) and have been worked ever since. I work at Presbyterian Homes and Services (a nursing home) serving food in the dinning room to the residents. So i'm kinda a waitress in a way. I really like it though. The people are really nice and friendly.

There's an update for you all. I must say I miss California and the people there and I can't wait until I come back July 31st. God is teaching me a lot here so it's good. One lesson I have learned so far is that I can never get away from drama, it's everywhere I go! :-)
