Rest and Relaxation

That is what I have been doing since I got home on Sunday. I did not realize how much I needed to rest and breathe until I got here. It's been good. I have completely cleaned and organized my room, finished reading Passion and Purity (such a great book, Elisabeth Elliot is very wise), started to crochet a little coin purse (so fun!!), and spent a lot of time with my Lord. God is an amazing God and He is so gentle and caring. All He wants is the best for us and more than that He just wants us to rest and be still before Him. It's so peaceful.

In July I am going to go to Haiti with my church and dad and Carl!! I'm really excited about that!! It will be good and challenging. I might go to Israel in the fall, we'll see where God directs with that. Until then I will be helping my family get ready for mine and Carl's grad party at the end of this month. It's going to be almost a family reunion from MN!! So many relatives are coming which is awesome! I am also going to be looking for some sort of job to do nothing permanent though. If anyone knows of anything in the area here please let me know. :)

God is good and His words to me have been "wait, trust, and obey" so simple but sometimes oh so hard.

God is our shelter. "
