The Slave Who Freed Haiti

That is the title of the book I am reading right now. It is a great book about the history of Haiti and how the slaves were freed in that country. I understand so much more about the Haitian culture from reading this book. I now know why they do some of the things they do. Very interesting book. If anyone wants to read it let me know. Speaking of Haiti I have been praying a lot and thinking about going back there and doing missions work for a while. I'm praying about it. We'll see where the Lord leads. He might lead me somewhere else who knows, only Him!

I haven't posted much because there isn't much to say. Oh except I did get a new car last weekend. It is a 2006 white Toyota Corolla and very nice! Carl needed the camry for school that he will start next week. So my option was to get a new car which I did. It's exciting to have my "own" car and it has some pretty cool features.

I've moved into the guest room while my dad works on my room taking out my counter and cupboards. He will be replacing it with a window seat, bookshelves, and some storage boxes. The guest room is really nice and for those of you who know my house you know that I have my own sink and counter and a big closet. It's fun being in a different place, oh and the bed is sooo comfy!

Work is going well. Tomorrow I get to run the museum's booth at Farmer's Market in SLO with Angelina, so that should be lots of fun. I'm excited to do it and I know I'm going to have some friendly visitors already! :)

P.S. Happy Birthday Jenn!!!!
