Today 65 years ago Pearl Harbor was bombed and WWII started for the Americans. We must remember the sacrifice of the many men who fought in WWII and how they fought for our freedom. These men are dying off quickly and some of them are dying without even saying anything about the war and how they fought. If you know a veteran go talk to him or her and tell them how thankful you are for what they did 60 some years ago.
That's my history speech for the day. :)

we were just talking about pearl harbor today. and how my mom was upset that most people dont observe the day. shes not too happy about it.

Thanks for the reminder. I think I will start commerating it more. Perhaps a tradition of watching an old war movie and writing a note to a vetran and/or serviceman.
