Books are expensive

I just bought my books for my classes and they were a bit pricey, but not that bad for buying 17 books. I am taking 18 units and I know it's a bit crazy but I'm gonna do it! I am taking a computer class online, two history classes: a history seminar and age of dictators; a survey of humanities, ethics and contemporay thought, and theology 1. It's a lot but I'm excited to start especially the history ones. The books are really cool for history they are ones that I know I will keep forever.

Last night all of the students went to Coronado Beach in San Diego. I had never been there before and it is a beautiful place. We played a really fun scavenger hunt at the beach and in the town. It was fun hanging out with everyone and seeing San Diego a bit more.

This afternoon a few of us girls went to a very cool shopping center. It has a Target and get this...an Old Navy!! That's right, and of course while we were there I couldn't pass up a $4.00 shirt. Tonight we are having parties to get the new students to mingle with the returning ones. Then tomorrow morning bright and early we start classes. Yippee!
